Meet the team at Pomroy Associates
Jonathan is the Managing Director of Pomroy Associates, having assumed the role in May 2023.
As a qualified Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) Jonathan offers a wealth of tax and management accounting knowledge to clients. His expertise lends itself to tax, bookkeeping and business advisory.
Jonathan loves technology, helping clients prepare for the digital requirements of Making Tax Digital. He’s an expert in cloud accountancy systems and tax planning.
Outside of work, Jonathan finds enjoyment in skiing, cycling, and golf, while also prioritising quality time with his young family.
Although recently retired Chris remains a Director at Pomroy Associates and consults with a few clients when required. He originally established our accountancy practice in 2003.
His extensive expertise enables him to offer excellent strategic advice to business clients. He ensures that our services comply with changing regulations impacting tax, accountancy and business management.
Retirement allows Chris more time to enjoy golf and travelling. He is also fulfilling his ambition of learning to play the saxophone.
Kaelan is a director at Pomroy Associates and a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA). Having joined the firm as an apprentice in December 2016, he has steadily built his career by gaining experience across all areas of the business. His journey reflects a long-standing commitment to client service, continuous development, and contributing to the firm’s success.
As an ICAEW Chartered Accountant, Kaelan leverages his expertise in business advisory, statutory services, and personal tax to deliver tailored solutions that meet clients’ unique needs. With a strong foundation in financial reporting, compliance, and strategic planning, he works closely with clients to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and support their long-term goals.
Outside the office, Kaelan has swapped his GAA and football boots for the golf course—but remains a loyal Arsenal fan through every high and low.
Suzie has extensive accountancy experience, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992. This includes leading the Financial and Management Accounts department of a “Big 4” accountancy firm.
A long-term, valued member of the team, Suzie, is an expert in financial reporting. She ensures our clients comply with all financial reporting requirements.
Suzie enjoys spending time with her family. Her hobbies include Zumba and gardening.
Paula has extensive experience in bookkeeping, VAT returns, annual accounts, and tax returns (corporation tax and personal taxes). She is also involved in Company Secretarial compliance and payroll processing.
Having worked in business, charity and accountancy roles, Paula has in-depth knowledge of online bookkeeping and accountancy systems, including QuickBooks, Xero and Sage.
Paula dances competitively. She also enjoys football, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Bethany is a fully qualified AATQB bookkeeper and is currently studying towards a higher accounting qualification. Bethany has extensive experience in both industry and practice, and a strong track record of improving operational efficiency, financial performance, and client service. Bethany is responsible for Bookkeeping, Payroll and VAT returns and thrives on finding creative solutions to niche problems.
Bethany spends the rest of her time running around after a small human and enjoys practicing aerial silks, beekeeping, gardening, knitting and various DIY projects.
Faye brings a wealth of skills and support to our team. Her experience in business and public sectors brings a unique mix of expertise adding value to our client services.
Faye looks after our company secretarial services and compliance requirements. She is looking forward to broadening her skills and experience within the team.
During her free time, Faye travels and spends time with friends and family. She especially enjoys long walks with her dachshund, Alan!
